"We loved our stay in monopoli and found Danielle VERY helpful. The TAXI service if totally overpriced and is very disappointing as an Australian tourist. BUT we loved the history, food, wine etc. The train service is very clean and reliable."

"Beautiful Monopoli, only issue this time was due to the public beach and area being closed, however the town/restaurants/cafes/shops and the general feeling of Monopoli is rejuvenating"

"Accommodation was lovely and clean. We were recommended Porto Rosso as the best beach but were very disappointed. It was filthy. There was rubbish hanging off rocks and litter and glass all through the sand. Afraid to take off shoes to wet feet even though a lifeguard present. Walked past all beaches and wouldn't recommend any until Paradiso which was clean, beautiful and went for swim. Girl at Info Point excellent. Historic Centre lovely. Realise May is early for season but VERY disappointed with cleanliness of beaches."

"The rating on the cleanliness is that there is a lot of rubbish in the gutters, cigarette butts everywhere and dog poo 💩 everywhere. People who walk dogs need to pick up after them. Supply bags to the community and fine people for dropping cigarette butts. "
