"Monopoli is a cozy little city with a beautiful cost and old city! There are a lot of nice restaurants and café and you can easily go to other cities at the cost by train.
I liked that it was pretty empty in January and yet nice weather and great atmosphere, also the lights and decoration from Christmas are very sweet! Great place to get some calm and rest! "

"Monopoli is a clean, friendly and very interesting city. It has a warm and welcoming ambience with a relaxed atmosphere. Road signs directing traffic especially in one way streets were the best I have ever seen. I am an Australian tourist who found driving a car much easier in Monopoli than other places in Italy. "

"Monopoli is een dorpje met een middeleeuwse sfeer aan zee. De originele oude stad is voor de helft gevuld met kerken en een kathedraal en paleizen en andere mooie gebouwen. Je kunt er heerlijk ontbijten, lunchen en dineren met uitzicht op zee. Elk jaar is er een uitgebreide fototentoonstelling die het waard is om te bezoeken. Elk jaar met een ander thema. Dan kom je in prachtige gebouwen waar je anders geen toegang tot hebt."
