"Cleanliness seems to be good, but the waste and noise in the city is enormous! So much plastic, at the end even in the ocean! Make Monopoli - and the planet - sustainable. We only have one."

As for the transport - in general it was okay, we were not in a rush, but there was no information about were the bus actually leaves from. We needed to ask around it two places. "

"Monopoli is a great place for a base to explore Puglia. There are nice and accessible beaches in Monopoli, lots of restaurants and the parking is not too challenging. The place is safe, one can walk around by night and we did not have any issues during our vacation."

"the city is run down, there are no waste bins (there are very few and full), there are no ecological islands to dispose of the garbage from the holiday home. the historic centre is full of construction work and areas closed to traffic with nets for restoration work that... hasn't even started.... the sea is accessible only with expensive beaches and in any case not well connected to the city..."

"Very big surprise ! Monopoli is it's own ! Unique ! I arrived at Sant Antonio place the day of the Saint, and people were so kind ! I could taste local home makes food on stands outside. Keep Monopoli safe ! No Saint Tropez, no Riviera ! "
